Drop Off Time: 9:45 AM – Road starts to shut down at 10:00 AM

The Troop will be marching in the Memorial Day Parade the morning of Monday, May 28, followed by attending a solemn ceremony on the Leicester Town Common in honor of all who fought and died serving our country. Meeting location will be the Leicester Memorial School (11 Memorial School Drive) and the parade ends at the Center Common for speeches. Scouts are expected to wear their full Class A uniforms. Scouts not in full uniform will not be allowed to march with the Troop.

Scouts should be dropped off at the Leicester Memorial School (11 Memorial School Drive) at 9:45 AM. The town shuts down access to the streets just after this. Scouts should be prepared for the weather as this is a rain or shine event.

In order to look our best, we all will be marching in our official BSA Shirt containing all required patches and shoulder loops. This includes:

• Pants – jeans, khakis, or official green BSA pants/shorts (No Gym Clothes allowed)
• A brown belt
• Hiking boots/shoes
• Neckerchief with a woggle (not tied in a knot)
• Uniform shirt is to be tucked in and scouts should be neat in appearance
• Optional – Merit badge sash
• Optional – Baseball hat, but must be official BSA hat. No other hats are allowed
